Annual Maintenance Contract

An Electrical Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a service agreement between a client and an electrical contractor or service provider to ensure the ongoing maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical systems over a fixed period—usually one year.

Scope of Work

Preventive Maintenance
  • Regular inspections (monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually).
  • Cleaning and tightening of connections.
  • Thermal scanning of panels (infrared thermography).
  • Testing of circuit breakers, RCDs, and protective relays.
  • Load balancing and voltage checks.
Corrective Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and repairing faults in wiring, lighting, or panels.
  • Replacement of defective components (switches, outlets, MCBs, etc.).
  • Emergency breakdown support (usually within agreed response times).
System Testing
  • Earth resistance measurement.
  • Insulation resistance testing.
  • Functional testing of safety and automation devices.
Documentation
  • Maintenance logs.
  • Test reports.
  • Recommendations for upgrades or repairs.
